Alexa Holiday is volunteering her time to help local veterans. The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Military Order of the Purple Heart, The American Legion, the Vietnam Veterans, and the Madison County Veterans Service Office are just a few of the organizations in which she has volunteered her time. She has always been fascinated and appreciated the things the Veterans have done to protect our rights.
Her latest time has been spent with the HEROES ON WHEELS, Inc. “We have a wheelchair that needs to be delivered to a veteran that Homestead Assisted Living , but we don’t have time to get her cleaned up.” That was the challenge and the one that Alexa accepted.
The pictures below show her cleaning one of the wheelchairs that has been refurbished for a veterans widow. The chair was delivered on August 13, 2018. Alexa also volunteer time to help with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Saturday breakfast.
Alexa is a candidate for the Miss Idaho contest. The local veterans here in Madison County know that she will be an asset and hope that she wins the contest.
